CHONGQING SEMINAR (DECEMBER 2003)
Two of Widnell’s senior staff delivered papers at the joint HK Institute
of Surveyors/China Association of Cost Engineers seminar held in Chongqing
in Sichuan Province province.
Widnell’s Beijing based Deputy Director Dr. Ng Wing Fai’s talk highlighted the differences between cost control techniques in China and those used on international projects while Widnell Managing Director Kim Berry’s paper concentrated on the cost control techniques used on major projects.
The seminar was very successful with a capacity attendance of 360 cost engineers from Chongqing and other parts of China. Further joint seminars are planned for 2004.
