Widnell has been appointed by the Hospital Authority as Quantity Surveyors for the Redevelopment of Yan Chai Hospital.

The redevelopment project involves the demolition of 4 existing hospital blocks and their replacement with modern medical facilities to enhance the operational efficiency of the hospital. The project will enable the hospital to cope with the increasing demand for medical services in the community arising from the growing and ageing population.

By redeveloping Yan Chai Hospital, the Hospital Authority will also strengthen its community-based healthcare services to deal with the increased cases of chronic illness resulted from the ageing population.

Widnell’s recent health care experience also includes major redevelopments at Kowloon Hospital and Castle Peak Hospital.
