SHATIN — CENTRAL RAILWAY (FEBRUARY 2003)
Following the HK Governments decision to award the HK$35 billion Shatin Central
Railway to KCRC, Widnell have secured several appointments as cost controllers
for the design stage services.
These include the Tai Wai to Diamond Hill section with Motts as Lead Engineer, the Hung Hom Mass Transportation Centre and the HK Island Admiralty to Central sections both with Atkins as Lead Engineer, the Fourth Rail Harbour Crossing Tunnel with Scott Wilson as Lead Engineer and the FHC to Admiralty section with Arup as Lead Engineer.
Widnell cost control teams will work full time in the project offices to provide effective and cost management.
